Reviews for Lovesong
This film takes bold, creative leaps—I’m not sure if they all necessarily land, but it is definitely worth the watch. The tight camera shots and long, dialogue-less scenes gave me a haunting, almost horror like feeling. There are lots of unresolved moments that make this movie feel so raw, so innately human. It captures the subtleties of social missteps, and shows the truth of how the right people can come into your life, but not always at the right time. It artfully illustrates the effects of what goes unsaid.

I liked the atmosphere and the little details of the movie. The presentation of the movie and the different angles of the movie really gave the movie more “realness”. Not to mention, the movie was shot in Nashville which gave it a more personal feeling. The main story of the movie was a little heart-breaking in the sense of the main characters but I enjoyed the movie overall.
